Marianne's summer house is picturesquely situated above a wide bay in the middle of a large garden full of splendid, vigorous Mediterranean plants. The view of the sea and mountains is magnificent. We spent many hours in the sun on the terrace in front of the house. The house had everything we needed for an independent holiday. There was enough space for the two of us to spend cosy hours in the house, even when it occasionally rained. The location is ideal for exploring the central part of the west coast of Koriska. Our highlights were extended boat excursions in the Gulf of Porto and a magnificent concert with traditional polyphonic singing in the Abbey of Vico. Nick, who looked after us and the house on site, was just as helpful as he was a cheerful and pleasant person to talk with.

We brachten vele uren door in de zon op het terras voor het huis. Het huis had alles wat we nodig hadden voor een onafhankelijke vakantie. Er was genoeg ruimte voor ons tweeën om gezellige uren in het huis door te brengen, zelfs als het af en toe regende. De locatie is ideaal voor het verkennen van het centrale deel van de westkust van Koriska. Onze hoogtepunten waren uitgebreide bootexcursies in de Golf van Porto en een prachtig concert met traditionele polyfone zang in de abdij van Vico. Nick, die voor ons en het huis ter plaatse zorgde, was net zo behulpzaam als hij een vrolijk en aangenaam persoon was om mee te praten.

What a wonderful vacation we had, we love tranquility, a cozy house and panoramic views, so this location was really perfect for us. For our kids the sandy beach, which is just around the corner, was also very enjoyable. Such clear water and we also had high waves several days which made for a lot of water fun. In fact, we liked it all so much that we have already booked again for 2025!

In early June 2024 we enjoyed everything in and around villa Arbousier immensely.
The garden and terrace are fantastic and, in addition to a lot of privacy, offer a beautiful view over the sea with all its beautiful sunsets.
Fantastic, that the sea, if you like to swim, is just around the corner. From here we also made beautiful trips and walks to, for instance: Piana/Cap Rosso and le Cascade d' Aitone near Evisa. All the detailed information on all the things to do are available in the house.
The house itself is also well equipped with comfortable beds and a good kitchen and certainly appropriate for a family of 4.
With two separate couples we would have missed a separate access to the toilet and bathroom.
As a two couple it is really a paradise and we hope to come back again.

Gosh Marianne .... What an ideal house.... it was always very lovely but now, the finishing touches .... (washing machine / kitchen + oven and dishwasher 😱 nice big freezer) but especially all the loving other things we find (beautiful books / magazines / cutlery thought out in detail / plugs in the right place / spices etc etc: 50 years of experience and dedication 🥰) all praise ... we will water cuttings and feed cat ... THANX....

We had a wonderful week. Beautiful house and garden, but especially the view was really fabulous! So nice to sit on the terrace in the morning and look at the amazing view. A nice host and therefore a nice reception. Enough extra stuff for the beach is available. So many things to see in the area and the beach is within walking distance. Super place!
